He tarnished reputation and often looked ill in his final months here, he's never really covered himself in glory with his comments when he's been back either.

Really Mr Gibson....I mean really...
Another complete and utter novice. A novice beyond all novices.
Untried, untested and seems a quite laid back and 'vanilla' type character....
This squad needs experience around them. It doesn't need a novice whereby when we suffer 3 possible losses on the bounce someone with acumen & experience is at least able to draw on his experiences and remain calm, focussed and clear headed in pursuing the tactics and team selection to support growing & developing the confidence throughout the team and squad. At team with losses and in need of inspiration need someone they can look upto for the confidence and belief required to lift their game.
A NOVICE CAN'T DO THAT and that's where Boro are at. We have a relatively experienced bunch of players that need firm control and someone who can nurture belief and confidence to produce their best. We obviously need another 1 or 2 leaders on the field as well ASAP (which won't happen until January at the earliest) which makes having an experienced Manager at the helm EVEN MORE IMPORTANT.
I actually cannot beleive we are even talking to Carrick. It just highlights how poorly this club is now run....
I actually despair at my proud club and it's immediate future.
Pretty sure Carrick has more trophies than all of our current players combined.
Carrick would be respected, if he's not, then we have players that shouldn't be at the club.

As for opinions, I think everyone knows I'm more than opinionated already, I've never been one to hold back on my views, if anything I 'think' too much, thanks for the 'advice'.

The thing is, ten years down the line when Carrick has just blown our third CL final in succession, ExFL will be able to hoof this and say we won those 2 PL titles in SPITE of clueless Carrick.
