Captain Tom RIP

I can't add anything above the sentiment already shown on this thread, RIP Captain Tom a real life superhero.

When we reflect on the pandemic in years to come, the story of Capt Tom will be remembered fondly and it will be a fitting epitaph to a long and full life.
Great knock sir.

Hearing the news he's died has saddened me much more than I expected. I guess that shows he touched so many lives. Incredible man, RIP.
I would agree with that. He was, I think, a beacon of hope for us all when there was much uncertainty.

So very sad to read this news.

He was without doubt a real super hero, a true gentleman and national hero. What an innings, what a life he has lived and what an example he has set to us all. He epitomised the good that is within humanity and lay within us all, somewhere. I would have loved to have had the pleasure of meeting such a national treasure.

RIP Captain Sir Tom and a warm heartfelt thank you for everything, you will be missed, but never forgotten 😥

Sad to hear, he made the most of his innings and has left a legacy for his family to be proud of, RIP
