Didn't southampton just knock back an offer from Leeds?

It would be amazing if we managed to get Archer as a replacement for LL and still had some money left over to bulk up midfield.

What a window that would be.

I very much doubt it though.

They did, I can't see it either. But the guy who's posted is fairly reliable so we will see.

He completely downed tools against Coventry, as did most players tbh.

Our transfer business has been absolutely baffling to me to be honest.

Need a CM desperately, we’ve signed our fifth left back, a right winger we didn’t really need, a centre back (then let one equally as good go).

The only one that’s made sense to me thus far is Travers.
 
Did Southampton knock back a loan offer from Leeds because they were hoping to offload him on a permanent?

Cost them £15m didn't he? Suppose the question is would we spend that much (or close to?). The reported Lath fee would obviously cover it so it's possible.

Wages maybe more of an issue.
 
Archer, Tommy Conway and Whittaker would be as good as anything in the championship, still think we need strengthening in midfield, right back if Anf goes and centre back
