Bye bye right to peaceful protest

I wondered how long it would take for Brexit to be mentioned - although I didn't think you would be the first (probably won't be the last though)
Let me explain it too you: one of the driving principles of Brexit was to not be beholden to European standards on human rights. Remove those standards and the government has carte blanche to remove other human rights. Firstly the right to protest. Lets see which of our rights they remove next.

If I were that way inclined I'd probably go for worker's rights next, but potentially lead into it with something more palatable to the frothing mob - prisoner's rights maybe?

This bill was mentioned this weekend in the context of shutting up the remainer with the megaphone outside Westminster.
He has his own specific section. That's how bad this bill is, they guy who protested against brexit has his own specific section in it. This government are petrified of the people. Sadly that fear will lead to them repressing them more. This bill is the thin end of a very fascistic wedge.

Not like you to be condescending ST - by the way it's "to" not "too" ;)

As its not like you ST with the usual comment, 'you don't understand'

Mind your OK you didn't vote in the present government, oh hang on.....
I’m only commenting on what I’m working with. You Erimus twins just don’t seem to understand the damage Brexit is doing. You seem shocked every time brexit erodes part of our lives

Interesting case in point isn’t he whole Brexit argument. I casually explain a simple fact about human rights and the usual suspects jump in with insults and absolutely no counter argument. That’s what we are dealing with now. It’s like brexiters know how much of a disaster their unicorn is and they are just lashing out and bullying everyone who points it out now. It’s actually sad

That may or may not have been a driving principle of Brexit but as was explained time & time again, the European Court of Human Rights which judges on breaches of the European Convention on Human Rights, and the The Human Rights Act 1998 which brought it into UK legislation have absolutely sweet FA to do with the UKs membership of the European Union.

So it was a Brexit lie? Oh my oh my. I never knew the Brexit campaign lied to us
