West Ham have a great keeper on the bench.I could see West Ham make a move for Pope as Fabianski is getting on a bit now. Perhaps even Spurs as the same applies to Lloris.

Randolph? They still need to think about replacing Fabianski though. He's probably late 30's now.West Ham have a great keeper on the bench.
Burnley will sell Pope but can’t see them getting £40m
Getting back to Burnley though. I think it's bad for Northern football that they've gone. Apart from the big Manchester and Merseyside clubs there's only Newcastle and Leeds from the North.
I think Weghorst is a better player than his Burnley spell suggests, but right now his cost compared to value looks distinctly unappetising.Yes Weghorst cost £12 m for his two goals. Whilst Pope is a fantastic keeper who would pay £40m for him? The top paying clubs all have a decent keeper already.
Huddersfield may join them.Getting back to Burnley though. I think it's bad for Northern football that they've gone. Apart from the big Manchester and Merseyside clubs there's only Newcastle and Leeds from the North.
The Geordies might.Me neither.
A year left on his contract, albeit with an option of another, and they're in the financial mire now.
No club is going to pay £40m for a 30 year old keeper from a relegated team.
I always used to buy Weghorst on console football games. An absolute beast in the air.I think Weghorst is a better player than his Burnley spell suggests, but right now his cost compared to value looks distinctly unappetising.
Huddersfield could replace them.
If they do, it's good for northern football to not have Burnley as a representative on the world stage, can't remember ever enjoying watching them play in the Premier League and they've got a "Brexit football" reputation for a reason.
What the feck is brexit football
Worked great for us, wonder if Gibbo will give their chairman a bell and recommend Garry Monk?a decent amount of money back but a total rebuild with a new manager......not too many teams have been relegated then immediately promoted doing this.
£40m is nothing these days. Clubs will pay that if they need a keeper. Ramsdale was £30m and he was only supposed to be a backup this season. That transfer was mostly laughed at. They pay that amount for big risks on average players. Pope is a pretty safe signing. Only thing that goes against it is the length of his current contract.
That was down to a release clause I think, they had no choice but to let him go to (at the time) a relegation rival. Wasn't really a success at Newcastle but that transfer still hurt BurnleyPope and Mcneil are probably 'sellable' assets. I don't see many more.
A few are leaving for nothing so that should help the wage bill if it's 9 on prem wages.
They pulled off the greatest bit of transfer buisness in recent years getting 25mil for wood. He only had 18 months left on his contract. Hopefully the mags want one or two of our players. Name the price
