Burgzorg

Always thought the criticism was a bit over the top. I like him. He gives us another dimension and he's really good at rolling his man. Gonna be a big player for us in the next 2 games especially at tough grounds.

Keep it up Delano, you've got a fan in me.

I just wish he would stay on his feet like, the second half when he turned his man and would have been be away on goal but instead threw himself on the floor because of the slightest contact. When he stays on his feet he’s holding players off and turning them well.

He gives us a bit of what Rogers gave us. That ability and strength to travel with the ball.

I think that’s where our recruitment has been smart.

You can’t replace all of Rogers’ attributes with one player - that’s why he’s playing in the champions league - so you look for a few different signings to bring different things

Azaz has the guile and Burg has the pace and power

yes looked good, just a couple of times I felt he should have fed Doak on the break but otherwise a good game

I said it after the cup game at Leeds in August. He had a really good game and his style of play sort of made me think Carrick sees an Akpom-type role in the team for him. I think he’s a promising signing for us.

I think you have to give players time to "get" how Carrick wants them to play. You have to remember he played under Fergie for a long time and one of the hallmarks of Fergies teams was their mentality. I think Carrick places a lot of importance on that and it's why he sticks with players and his style and encourages his team to keep trying things.
Del Boy has definitely transformed the way he plays in terms of the mental side and it's bringing out the best of his physicality and pace.

I disagree - I thought that he was very strong, and played through some pretty tough tackles in the second half.

First team starter before McGree now in my opinion. Riley under pressure to perform now.
So if you want to cry off because of another injury or go off to Australia go but you are back of the queue when you return.
