Under carrick he’d score goals. He has poor work ethic and we can do better however to make our he’s this awful player is rubbish, if Chuba can have a season like he has no reason Assombalonga couldn’t is there.

Yes there most definitely is.
Mart has spelled out definitively why he is a poor footballer and would be a horrendous recruit.
I honestly can’t believe there is anyone who would take the lazy useless sloth back.

Chuba was always a better technical player than Britt. Britt would still only score 15 or so goals under Carrick. He'd still not be good enough to get away from the top defenders, to get his shot away early enough to not be tackled, to keep his shots on target, and to beat the better keepers.

He's had 10 years of football and but for one season at Peterborough and an injury shortened one at Forest he has been second rate. There is no evidence that he would bag loads of goals for anyone, he's scored 3 in 18 months.

Britt always came across to me as not really engage in the game. I reckon could have gone onto better things but he seemed content when he came to us.

Yes I agree. While I don't have quite as bad an opinion of his first 3 seasons here as you - his last one....well I think Stockton reserves would be insulted being linked with him. Once that has happened I don't think he can turn it back on again. But he's a nice bloke, so if he does then fair enough
