British Grand Prix 🇬🇧

I really enjoyed the sprint race format. I can definitely see it coming into its own further along in a season.

I'm not convinced it will last. All risk and very little reward for the front running teams as Red Bull experienced today with Perez now on back row, though Max swapped places on the front row.

Surely that's a penalty for Lewis if Russell gets one for exactly the same incident.

Total racing incident. If anything max was trying to force Lewis to back off by angling in when Lewis had little room to go anywhere else at such speeds, just as much as Lewis could have backed out. They both chose to try to force the other to back out. Both drivers are partially to blame.

Lewis never ahead at the corner ... Verstappen has to turn in at some point... Lewis had plenty of room on right to avoid collision.

Whilst I get your point, Max had far more track available, he chose his line which is his right, but in doing so caused the coming together for me and he put his own car and Lewis’s at risk arguably more. You have to factor speed and Lewis being pinched. Max was chancier than Lewis imho. I am a spectator not a steward so be interesting to see what they decide, they can’t take account of the potential seriousness of the outcome though, just the incident itself happening.

At the restart thought Hamilton was like a guilty schoolboy .. wasn't going to try any overtaking for a lap or two...

oooh ... 10 second penalty... guilty m'lud
