Brexit voters

Little Tory is the only member I have on ignore I never thought I would do that as it seems so childish. I have never complained to Admin about anyone.

But without knowing what the above says I can confidently predict there will be personal insults.

Personal email expected.
Oh: remember when I talked about spineless cowards who made a big song and dance about ignoting me. Yet continue to insult from behind that block. Knowing you're safe from any comeback?

Well....

I didn't have ST on ignore but didn't interact with him. His comment about brexit voters being complicit in the murder of Ukrain women and children was a step too far for me. I have no wish to read what he has to say so I put him on ignore.

We can all argue and disagree, but if you can't be civil, I have no interest in debating anything. If I find them offensive they go on ignore becaue I don;t need that kind of poison in my life.

I still cannot believe he said that. More to the point why would anyone say that? I have battled with all the sensible Remainers, none would come up with that line.
I have him & another on ignore & better for it
I too dont want to read what he spouts either, we all have opinions but when someone is rude, personnel & aggressive in their tone then thats them gone

I dont need to see what they've posted I can see other posters replies to realise its not pleasent & TBH, with all the good intentions @HarryVegas stated in his OP, it was always going to revert to name calling

If I’m being completely honest, I no longer have any interest in why people voted leave or indeed whether they remain happy with the decision they made. The frankly disastrous consequences of Brexit continue to show themselves more and more every day. The huge electoral fraud, data protection breaches and obvious Russian interference have also been as plain as the nose on your face for some time. Any discussion with people that continue to deny those things is pointless and as has been observed will only ever end badly.

100% correct......

That's a good point to be fair. I guess I'm less sanguine than you Adi. I see my country going down the toilet and get so exasperated by those who still support the process destroying it. It would help make sense of things if those people could explain why they still do. As this thread shows, they can't even do that. To isolate a country is one thing. To not even know why you are doing it is quite another.

That's me told, the £ collapsed as did housing, the TUC, CBI , BBC, the government, Labour party, Greens, Scots Nationalists, Liberals, £18.4 million on one side beaten by a few Russian Bots, Farage and £13 million on the other. You are right it was unfair.

I notice the language has changed since the referendum, that should never have happened, the days of Racist, Thick as mince, Gammon and ageism seem to be calming down.

I am afraid he did. He said something like : "Anyone who voted for brexit is complicit in what is going on in Ukraine".

Awful thing to say and needed challenged.
I’m happy for it to be challenged. Very few did, especially not you. I’m trying my best and hopefully one day I’ll teach you how to “challenge” I viewpoint rather than baselessly insult it. I’ve tried here, and you haven’t quite got there. Hopefully you will

Exactly. We now know that the following were features of the referendum:

(i) electoral fraud;
(ii) significant data protection breaches; and
(iii) almost certain Russian interference.

In that context does anyone really care why people voted the way they did, much less, why they might continue to believe they did the right thing?
Serious question mate, if all that is the case and I believe it to be true, could the leave result be made null and void?

Sadly not. It’s been tested and the court held that had it been a binding referendum it could and would have been overturned. As it was advisory only it could not be set aside, bizarre as it seems given that the government and population have treated it as binding.

Thanks for that.

It was challenged, you chose not to answer the question as you knew the answer to it entirely destroyed your statement that Brexit voters are complicit in the death of Ukranians.

Lets be clear, Putin did not decide to invade Ukraine post June 2016, he decided this years before as evidenced by the annexation of Crimea and the war in the eastern provinces sine 2014.

Your statement was deliberately designed to troll certain posters in your continued attempt to prove some kind of moral and intellectual superiority on a football message board (a board where you rarely engage with threads about football).

You continue to berate those who have a different perspective across a range of topics with passive aggressive posts insinuating a lack of intelligence or racist undertones - for instance every time criticism of Hamilton is raised your default response is to “subtly” suggest there’s a specific reason for it.

You were utterly flummoxed when I challenged you. Your disgusting statement was proven to be utterly incorrect, your argument was dismantled and yet you still haven’t had the b***ks to admit you were wrong.

I can only assume you get some kind of perverse kick from coming onto a footballing message board to troll other users about Brexit.

And I repeat - remain in 2016, Lib Dem 2010, Labour ever since.
The best way to show your anger on the brexit vote and to try and stop brexit happening was surely to vote tory in 2019 like SmallTown stated he did, if only all hardened remainers had such political insight … who knew 🤷‍♂️
