Brexit deal gives Nissan a competitive advantage..

not the end of the world but looking to get a bike online but they can't deliver to N.Ireland atm hopefully just teething problems, from the online chat
"Due to system upgrades to accommodate the additional declarations paperwork required at the NI border, online purchasing in Northern Ireland will be temporarily unavailable. We hope to resume this service shortly and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."

still not sure of any actual benefits yet of it yet?

Why make it about generations though? That’s just as inflammatory at having a go at “the Right/Left” or “Leavers/Remainers”. Why stereotype and criticise everyone younger than you?
I absolute balls from a boomer, the generation that has had everything their own way since day dot, to call others entitled. Why bother with introspection when you get everything you want?

(Edit: this was aimed at the poster you were quoting, atypical, not yourself)

Come back to the thread and it is the same old same old.

So Adi, you suggest we continue bitching n moanin'?

The referendum is done and the result stands so whilst it might not have been conducted fairly, that is pretty much beside the point I was making.

No, I don't think anyone should (not that anyone is) continue to bitch and moan. I think that those responsible should be held accountable and those that voted for it have the humility to accept the reality as it unfolds rather than just tell people to get over it.

Christ who are you ? Donald Trump , “ hey everyone down to the Commons and wreck it “

No, I'm not, I'm just able to understand the facts surrounding the referendum vote. From the electoral fraud, the huge data protection creaches right through to the lies on the bus.

Why, because remain lost?

No.

To a certain extent I agree with your response to me, other than people aren't bitching at each other, most aren't but plenty are. On the subject of accountability and, probably to a larger extent the people who voted for it acceptance that it has gone very wrong and will have a devastating short term impact maybe key. It will give them pause for thought when they next cast a ballot.

This is true, and without acceptance of the reality of the world we live in right now, brexit, removal of NHS protections, the constant villification of the poor and the, not so stealthy, removal of the social safety net, people can continue to fool themselves that they are OK and it's laziness and feckless fools that suffer at the hands of recent conservative governments.

This I agree with, however, calling someone a racist thicko entrenches their viewpoint. Nobody is going to say: "fair play, but I have learnt my lesson now." We need sensible discussion and not what passess for debate on most of the brexit threads. Rhetoric now is pointless.

Factories set up by trans-nationals are never 'safe', regardless of brexit. Nations have to bribe them with taxpayers money or they are off as soon as the new model is ready.
