Brexit benefit number 435

You don’t know a single thing about the EU or what policies they are currently have

I don’t see how after 7 years nobody has ever mentioned the EU once.

Psychologically, it appears to me people want to use Brexit to look down on others because they are insecure or were probably bullied as children

So yes rejoiners will probably be seen as very odd people
So, what are the benefits of brexit?

Yeah, corruption in this country has improved so much 🤣
Actually I think you're wrong there. If anything it's got worse with the current lot of Tories in charge.
But like I said, we get the chance to vote them out. I just hope a lot of people who voted them in last time change their vote 🤞 Otherwise they will be in again

Yes, that was the joke

I wish that was true. My young niece is opening a restaurant shortly and unfortunately is doing a tasting menu. Now I'm sure that the food she serves will be superbly cooked and taste delicious, but I prefer to eat what I want to eat, not what she would like me to eat.

I'll still be going as soon as I can, to support her and maybe she'll change my mind.
I hope it's a great success. JR listed about half a dozen sacking off their tasting menus, including the fish chef from Eston. I've had a couple of good experiences of tasting menus, but only in Spain. Any others have been disappointing and far from filling.

I sort of did say that:
"I can't remember to be honest".
Then I tried a few guesses.
Luckily it's something I don't have to worry about any more.
So - fair play - you don't know. But you seemingly do know that whoever was in charge you were somehow being short changed democracy wise.

Don't worry Will

Non of the pro EU posters know who Von Der Leyan is either. In fact there's never been a single thread where the EU is discussed

That's why it's so obviously a blag for middle aged/elderly men and those who don't live here to do moan about Brexit as they don't know anything about the EU either

Bu you don't get to vote for anybody in charge in this country Will, no one does. We can only vote for the minions below them unless we happen to live in their constituency.

We do.

I'm still waiting for those Brexit benefits

The difference being the constituents voted in locally has a direct impact on who is subsequently in power.

You could start by spelling her name right.

And I'm 35, does that make me middle aged? Don't live in the area though.

Not necessarily- May, Truss and Sunak were chosen by a handful of people as were Major and Brown, With the exception of Brown, the 1922 committee had a huge say in these PM's. Does anybody know who is in the 1922 committee?
