Deffo Warnock I can't remember exactly when, been a few sleeps since thenWas that not Wilder snd he went for Connolly & Balogun?
There was a false narrative building around Warnock that started before the season started (mainly from twitter and podcast types).. similar to the knives being our for Karanka. Lots of noises coming out of the media (Maddo) at the time regarding formations and playing two upfront.Should have stuck with him bit crafty lining up wilder and look how that turned out .
False narratives? Without kick starting the same old NW arguments the results and performances under Warnock were completely underwhelming. It was only a matter of time before he was gone - Wilder or not. There was a false narrative building around Warnock that started before the season started (mainly from twitter and podcast types).. similar to the knives being our for Karanka. I don’t remember anything of the sort about Pulis despite his obvious shortcomings or Chris Wilder who seemed to have some sort of spell cast over the majority of fans and media!?!
not by me he won't. We had loads of enjoyable home games last season when Wilder came in, and the big cup wins. I can recall barely anything about Warnock's time here alreadyLegend.
He will remembered much more favourably than Wilder in years to come I’d say.
Hear hear and I felt the same about his press conferences too, were always a lift during a lonely time.Well I wouldn't say he was a Boro legend. But he took over in the middle of lockdown, and I'll be forever grateful that I was able to watch a Boro that played with some spirit during what was quite a scary and lonely time. It really was a massive lift to me to stick the stream on at the weekend to watch us play.
