Boris Johnson referred to Police over additional rule breaking

It’s brilliant that by him making the public pay his legal expenses it has backfired so spectacularly… I hope it teaches him but it won‘T.

Saw one gadge on the news last night making his defence as "Covid is over, he's been fined, let's move on, this is a civil service witch-hunt". 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Ex Tory MP on TV this morning saying ‘but he nearly died, I heard recently they were talking about which priest to call’ 🙄

Utter nonsense, he wasn’t close to death, wasn’t even put on a ventilator and was all just a stunt designed to get sympathy for him.

But now the seed are sown - it's now gospel that he was fighting for his life, but Lazarus like came back from the dead to lead the Covid fight......Saint Boris the Grifter.

Reality he didn't need a ventilator, had a mild dose and was carrying out Party planner work...sorry PM stuff ... and doing Suduko puzzles.

But his fan boys/girls won't have this. Straight out of the Trump/Bannon playbook.

Listening to his supporters this country is sadly heading that way.
 
All this does it reiterate the absolute unsuitability of Johnson to ever have been anywhere near high political office, how a person of no integrity, decency, a totally inflated sense of exceptionality and a dangerous ambition that far outweighed any ability got the keys to No 10 shows the farce that post referendum politics became in the UK, when someone as deeply polemic as Farage recognises the failure of Brexit was down to those in government it should open the eyes of those blinded by the bluff and bluster bonhomie of brand Boris.
 
Apperently, his dairy also included bringing friends and family to Downing Street as well, which is why the MET are involved.
 
I made the mistake of putting a Radio 5 phone in on this morning. Depressing stuff. Terminally thick people saying what a smashing bloke Johnson is and all the wonderful things he did. Parroting the 'He got Brexit done' line without the slightest thought given as to why we should have left the EU and unable to point to any of the promised benefits of leaving that have actually come to be. Lowest point was a woman saying Johnson was worth it because he gave us some good laughs. At that point I was hoping she was trolling but I don't think she was.

Never really bought this. Not because for one minute I doubt that Johnson and those around him have the necessary dishonesty. But because you have to infer the same lack of integrity and professionalism from the medical staff you are engaging in your grand Tory conspiracy. That it was faked but not one of them has yet spilled the beans defies belief. Especially given what has leaked and is continuing to leak.

His having covid wasn't faked. His nearly dying was complete rubbish. Patient confidentiality prevents medics from speaking out but it is admitted by the Tories that he was in ICU only as a precaution, sat up in bed doing work and playing sudoku and never needed a ventilator. The idea that they were considering calling a priest for him is laughable.

Johnson himself told GB News "Whatever happened to me was really mild by comparison with the experience of so many other people, so many thousands of other people in this country."
