How ridiculous offering them to season ticket holders only.
Agree, just offer half price walk up prices to all fans for a couple of games, (we have nothing to play for now) as a season ticket holder, I want what is best for Middlesbrough football club. How ridiculous offering them to season ticket holders only.
So the offer attracted an extra 12k over 2 games…It was the Fulham and Hull home games when we got relegated under Southgate
Something like £20 for both games. The fans had long since drifted away
We got 24k for the Portsmouth game then 2x 30k crowds for the ticket offer games
Exactly, it’s about attracting new fans and bringing old fans back that haven’t been for some time.We definitely had a ticket offer v Sheff Wed. It was 2012 on a Friday, live on sky and there was nearly 30k there.

The club have dismissed ticket deals because they don't work but if you compare match by match then of course they don't but they have no idea how many people that attend for the 1st time when it's £10 go on to buy a season ticket for the rest of their lives. There will be someone whose first game was that £10 ticket deal that has had £5k worth of season tickets because of it.
