I remember Boro doing something similar. What made it a disaster? Low uptake?we did this before. was a disaster iirc

Our season is pretty much dead. Very little chance we go up or down, and it's March!
As a season ticket holder, I'd be fully behind 'Boro issuing a discounted ticket offer for some (if not all) of the remaining home games this season.
Other than Leeds (H), I doubt we'll come remotely close to selling out.
We have back to back home games at the beginning of April:
- Monday 1st April - Sheff Wed
- Saturday 6th April - Swansea
Something similar to what Birmingham are offering might be worth it.
Off the subject: but really looking forward to this "Small Town in Yorkshire" shoving a mighty spoke in Leeds promotion wheel and ruining their end-of-term-partyIt was a while ago though. It's certainly worth another go.

When?I remember Boro doing something similar. What made it a disaster? Low uptake?
Can't recall. Vague recollection of ST holders being able to buy a discounted ticket for a friend. Don't think it was a two match special. Years ago. When?
Ironically I think it was when Mogga was in charge. Think one of the games was a night match....When?
It's to try and stop ******* off season ticket holders isn't it.I just don't get the logic behind only offering this type of offer to people who know season ticket holders. You could get a big group of people wanting to go for the first time and can't because they only know one session ticket holder between them (or none). It a family they has no other connection trying it out for the first time etc. It's a bit old school having to know a member to sign you in.
If you want to stay new fans then stop putting barriers up to them.
They hardly did any offers, so no habit , i can remember 2 games with offers, fulham and hull in the PL which were very successfulI doubt the club will do ticket offers again.
Fans got in to the habit of only coming when there was an offer on.
Gates got down below 13k before we scrapped them.
I think most other clubs have come to the same conclusion, but Brum's owners are quite new.

I think - but could be way off - we beat Sheff Wed in one of them. McDonald and Jutkiewicz scoring.
Attendances were quite low at the time anyway. I don't think it was a complete disaster, but it didn't make much difference to the gate. You could understand them not doing it again.
Which was a shame, because it was a really good offer.
Probably where Im getting Sheff Wed from. Blue and whiteIt was - we played Bristol City and Huddersfield as part of the deal. Bristol tonked us but we beat Huddersfield 3-0, I think Ismael Miller scored in one of them.
