Big Game tonight.

I'll watch on TV tonight but Wednesdays are awkward for me to get to the match as my son trains 7pm-8pm. I would only go if it was a particularly big match as it means him missing his training and rather him play than watch Boro.
I won't be going to any midweek matches for the remainder of this season

Could potentially be back in the top half with a win, and level on points with Sunderland with a game in hand.

Play-offs are long gone, but there's still pride to play for.
Really ? Tea cider....let's talk...😊 pride is something we have ( had ) as fans...granted. but the players ( current crop ) In general lack it....
If we're only playing for pride god dam we have sunk mate

We aren't clear of our injury crisis yet, so I don't think tonight is the big game, a point tonight is a good point, it's a it of a free hit for me.

QPR and Birmingham are much bigger and Blackburn will be massive as we might have Howson and Izzy back for that. The red letter days are Sheff Wed and Swansea at home in April win those two and they are winnable, and we will be safe, but hopefully we will be pretty safe before then with a couple of wins in the next 5 games

Carrick is loathe to change formation from his 4231 but I can't see how we can play 2 centre-mids of Barlaser and O'Brien without being over-ran.

I'd be tempted to either stick a extra CB in and play a 5221 like we did agaisnt villa, or a stick Mcnair in as a 3rd centre mid. I'd love not to concede the first goal and the game be over by half time!!! Should also mean playing out for the back is slightly easier with an extra body deeper to receive the ball.

I also think we need Greenwood to start as he at least has legs in the wide forward position to press effectively, him with ELL up top should allow us to recover our shape easier as they press the ball in the opposition 3rd

When we have Mcgree and Azaz playing in front of Barlaser and O'Brien its like the 5 a side team on Father Ted!!!

Mrs Rob has just said on her way out to work, after I suggested we watch on the red button, “No, we are going, we have paid for it, we will be miserable together and we will not enjoy it together.”

Well actually we won’t enjoy it together as we sit separately….I've only just thought of that riposte and she’s at work now. Damn.
Will that's love right there.

Norwich will come to play and that generally suits us better.

Wouldn't surprise me to see us get something out of this one. A win would be fantastic.
I think this may be key. It has, generally been the case this season

The 'leaked' team on OneBoro suggests otherwise.
He will go 3 CB's tonight I think. He can do that based on the fact that, at the minute, Norwich are playing much better than us.

I don't think it will take him long to switch back though, I would expect to see a revert to 2 cb's on Saturday against QPR.

Expecting to get beat tonight, but we'll win. Same deal as the Leicester game. We'll dominate, go in front, lose a goal and win it 2-1

I agree, a point is good regardless with the injury crisis at the moment.

Do you actually believe we are at risk of being dragged into the relegation zone Mart?

If we are not going to play three at the back then get Paddy in. Stick him in front of the back four, to cover when we give the ball away. (y)

There's been nothing unlucky about the results recently. We've been lucky no one has put 5 or 6 past us.
Couldn't agree more. I think we're gonna get a hiding shortly and i pray to god it isnt Leeds clinching promotion by battering us at home.
