Best Alcohol Free "Beers"?

In BIG LETTERS it states ‘NO ALCOHOL, NO COMPROMISE.
But you’re right, it does contain .5% alcohol. Fine for me, but I guess not for some.

0.5% is about aa much as there is in a slice of bread or a banana, I believe. Your body won't even recognise it.

Another vote for Lucky Saint and Guinness 0 and Adnams Ghost Ship.

For the gins the Gordon's 0% is surprisingly good. I can't get on with the Strykk rum. Tastes like Dr Pepper. If they can crack the dark spirits we'd be laughing. Gin has the botanicals which can be replicated I guess.

Got my 0.0% Guinness chilling in the fridge to enjoy for tonight’s game. Probably turn to something a little stiffer going by results of late!

Guinness
Erdinger (the normal 0% beer is fantastic) and actually got me onto their beers.
Erdinger alkoholfrei grapefruit is surprisingly good.

"I just don't like soft drinks that much." Tough, who does. You'll get used to them and you'll find one that suits, the main thing to focus on is not to drink alcohol at all, not find a drink that fools you into thinking you're drinking alcohol. I just drink pints of soda water with or without lime/orange, it's just something to pay your entry fee into a pub
Everyone has their own path, so it isn't tough. I have a choice and my choice maybe different to yours. I don't criticise you choices and soda if fine but not for me. This is your opinion but not mine. I'm not fooled by anything. My issue wasn't with beer but I never want to feel like I did again.

Had this XPA at the pub today, smells so Hoppy and taste is a bit weaker but still there. Meant I was fully focused to complete my alphabet word game.

I gave up ale last year after 30 years of drinking the stuff. The best low alcohol alternative, the most tasty, is Brooklyn special effects. Most of the others taste the same. Low Tide is also a good taste.

Good Luck!

.. and San Miguel 0% for lager. Peroni 0% also good.
Lidl and Aldi do decent 0% lagers in small bottles. Sheppy's low alcohol cider also tastes as good as the real thing.
Experimenting and variation is the key to sustaining it. After a couple of weeks cold turkey you'll look forward to your no alcohol beer in the evening. I was drinking 3 bottles a day, now down to two. became aware that I was bevoming addicted to low alcohol beer, if that's possible.

Nanny State is not alcohol-free, despite what it says on the can. The small print shows it's 0.5%. Looks to be the same for other Brew Dog "alcohol-free".
I thought this when i started drinking low alcohol drinks but at 0.5% your body doesn't recognise it.

My brother has a breathalyzer and one night he and everyone else was drinking normally and were testing 75-100 milliliters where as i drank about 7 cans of low alcohol around 0.1 to 0.5%. I drank them in about 4 hours and when i took the breathalyzer test my reading was 0.0.

So even though they contain small amounts of alcohol in them they can also state that they are alcohol free as they wont show up in your breath.

Another one for Erdinger here. Probably my fave alcohol free. But the normal one. Haven't tried the grapefruit.

Becks blue is also decent

Most zero alcohols are actually 0.5% and they must be 0.05% to be classed legally was alcohol free.

Try Estrella Galicia Zero % - It's the best on the market .. much more malty and flavorful than the other zeros.

Not that i work for them or anything :) but seriously take my word for it.. you won't be disappointed!

I almost bought a Budweiser 0% the other day.. but I used to hate the alcohol versions so I know I would hate the 0% one :D got a random 0% from Aldi the other day, it wasn't bad at all. God knows what it was called!

I had my first Becks Blue a few weeks ago, and the smell was enough to put me off that for life.

I don't mind the 0% Budweiser they do at the ground, I'm trying to knock drink on the head so have been trying to get into non-alcoholic drinks and that's probably the best one I've had so far.
Agree with this - I've been off lager with positive % for a couple of years now & Bud Zero is the best of the lot so far IMHO - Peroni is ok though not as good as the regular Peroni which was my drink of choice.

Heineken 0% is ok too, wouldn't touch their usual larger.
