I would love to know the number of people using South Bank Station. I use the train quite a bit and there is only the odd person ever getting on or off there. Cannot see how they can justify 40 million.

Looks like all of the HS2 money is being spent on Teesside.
Never mind £40m for South Bank, he's building a new hospital north of the river and a tunnel for the fine folk south of the Tees to get to it if the tram's full.

A pointless railway station for a pointless park and ride scheme. The point is to shovel as much taxpayer's money as possible into these schemes for BenT's cronies.
