Ben's back! With more money!

With almost everything and everyone on their ar*es how the hell can you think it’s prudent to throw £40m at South Bank railway station?
Unless of course you have cunning plan if you get your way.😉
Of course…..silly me…..if they get their way they will be siphoning money off by the train load!!

If I promise to paint the white lines on the station car park, I only charge £500 a yard, plus 10% and I`ll clean the brush out for free.
Sounds like another good bit of business.
What with that, a new bridge over the Tees, a picnic area at Lackenby and removing the level-crossing gates in Redcar, this fellas got his head screwed on.
What a great dreamer he is, lyke

That sounds like one of those office meetings, called at short notice, where no one has time to prepare properly. They always end with an inconclusive resolution to "investigate in more detail" and report back later. Usually at a date "yet to be decided".
Full marks as usual to NE Bylines for attending the meeting and managing to stay awake.

Lord Airport held a board meeting at the Teesworks Skills Academy in Eston last Thursday.

But, as always with Ben Houchen, his clown car crashed straight into a skip fire.

I wondered what this biodiversity lark was about. Of course it's another scam to direct public money to private businesses for doing absolutely nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if Teesworks was selling off old steelworks carbon credits.

It's a dirty job following #BentBen, but somebody has got to to it.

Incidentally the meeting took place here the Teesworks Skills Academy on Eston Road.

It's another white elephant, and these meetings are one of the few times the building gets used.

Youngsters will remember that it's on the site of Cleveland Coke Ovens, just down from Grangetown Fire Station.

I think that it's a try out for that new STACKS container boozer under the A66

I had exactly this debate* on one of his Facebook posts, where he was lauding the "success" of teesside airport, yet it has recently just been reported that Middlesbrough had the highest rate of child poverty in the country, at around 40% iirc.

His political strategy seems to be very one dimensional, the promise of jobs and shiny new things, at the expense of what what CDRP statutory partners are legally mandated to deliver on.

The guy is a fraud.
