The second tweet in that thread just goes to show how much in his pocket the local old media actually are. Embarrassing themselves constantly by missing or avoiding these stories in favour of top 10 parmos in expensive houses lists.

There is some pretty dogged local journalism going on about this issue - Tees Valley Monitor has been on the case for a long while now, and recently over dredging issues Redcar Alert has been a decent alternative source. Caveat - I have no idea if these are properly independent sources or fronts for individuals/groups with a grudge but they certainly add colour to the witless PR republishing outfits like the Echo & the Gazette.

Last I read IIRC, several universities have been asked to submit evidence to the EA of possible industrial pollution causing the ecological disaster.

The Gazette will not cover this since since as said they are whoring for Houtchen. Once a respectable newspaper, now trash.
 
It's amazing the levels of corruption that certain individuals attempt to get away with.

If it quacks like a duck, swims like a duck and lays duck eggs then you'd be a fool to believe it was a monkey, yet there are plenty of the electorate who are prepared to accept that a duck eating a banana is a monkey.
 
Has anyone sent it to the gazette? When i sent them the smoggyrainbow links they were all over it. Yeah they do puff pieces all the time but end of the day they want clicks
 
Private Eye did a 3 page blockbuster spread on the whole Teesport shitshower three editions ago which highlighted the 'anomalies' about what was being said. Quite a lot of what was reported has previously been published by Tees Valley Monitor who appear to have a pretty good handle on what is happening.

There must be people somewhere who are bricking it about the end of the Tory corruption wagon.
