Being honest what do you expect tomorrow - v Fulham

Wilder's points per game extrapolated over the full season so far has us on 72 points.. still eight points behind Fulham but I dare say there was a period of adjustment, finding our feet and time for our new signings to settle in.

Conclusion: THE TABLE IS LYING
it kind of beggars belief that we went 3 months under Warnock when we could have had Wilder in charge since last summer. All summer to bring in his signings - no money wasted on Uche, Ameobi, Lumley, Lea Siliki, Sporar, probably be top 2 or certainly close to it by now, instead of the first 3 months of absolute dross, lame excuses and another rebuild needed

At this stage of the season, fighting for promotion I expect us to give Fulham a very hard game.

Clearly they are the best in the league and if we weren`t so woeful (for whatever reason) before the turn of the New year we could well be saying this is a game to decide the Champions of the Championship.
Hoping that they've pretty much got their foot off the gas, as they've pretty much won the league

Hope - We beat Spurs and Man Utd, and with our home record any game at the Riverside is a possible win

Expect - They are a class above the other teams in this league, so would not be surprised if we lose this one. I hope that does not prompt a load of knee jerk threads bemoaning our chances of promotion - any points here would be a massive bonus.

A point would be nice.

I think Gibbo felt a bit of loyalty towards Warnock and wanted to give him a chance to get us up. He did the right thing though when it was clear it wasn't working, and to be fair we haven't looked back. It would've been great to have Wilder in last summer though, and with a full pre-season behind him I'm confident we'd be in the top two.

I'm glad nearly everyone has come around to what I was saying. I wanted Warnock gone in the summer. He ran out of ideas nearly a year before he got relieved of his job. Don't get me wrong, I'm not adverse to some loyalty from chairmen, they're often too eager to fire. But Warnock was a road to nowhere

Warnock over performed to have us finishing 10th then he was involved in a massive re-building process which would have started long before the season was finished. One of Warnock's strengths much like Tony Mowbray is the ability to build a top championship side with next to no money. We had a specialist in place and he was charged with carrying out that duty. By the sounds of it Wilder was in the background and maybe even signed some sort of agreement earlier than we might be aware of. There was lots of talk early doors about the new man already being at the club and involved with the club. Injuries to Dijksteel, Fry, Hall & Bola delayed Wilder's appointment in my view. Warnock was used for the best of his abilities, saving us from relegation, stabilising/analysing the squad and then rebuilding the core of a top Championship side with nest to nothing. JOB DONE 100%

Listening to Chris wilder on the radio saying that they are going to win this league at a canter and I agree with him, so it’s going to be tough tomorrow.

What are your hopes and expectations tomorrow.
I fully expect a win, and wouldn't be all that happy with a draw.

We've won 8 at home on the bounce, have a record just as good as Fulham since Wilder came in, have nearly a full squad (more than recent anyway).

Also, Fulham will come and try and play, and attack which should suit us on the counter.

Not rocket science to say that when they are 14 points clear of third. Nice psychology hoping they ease off maybe? Remember Wolves who were a class above the rest coming to the Riverside a few years ago near the end of the season and we gave them a good game but they ultimately prevailed.
good game .... :) they passed us off the park with 9 men Pulis did not have a clue how to make our two man advantage work

I remember that game. Wolves were so cynical. They kicked us off the pitch and were time wasting at every opportunity. Oh, and their Manager wouldn’t shake Pulis’ hand at least the end of the game. (n)

If it is 1-1 coming up to 85 mins I would not expect either manager to pull off a defender and put an extra attacker on. In other words, both teams would probably be happy with a point.
Then 4-0 against Hull!

Think Chris Wilder might. He likes to win and has done it before, putting on extra strikers.

to be fair they did have 9 men away from home, cannot blame for a bit of time wasting :)
