Exactly this:
Mr Barnier recalls that he told the DUP: "It is your Brexit vote which creates the problem. We are waiting for you to bring forward ideas and proposals. You have produced none. When will you therefore assume the consequences of your own actions?"
The only proposals given were ones that contradicted some other proposal, or reality, and the issue of that is solely at the leaver's doorstep. They either knew it and didn't care (other priorities like immigrants etc, at the cost of Ireland/ NI and the Econemy) or they're gullible and fell for some clown telling them "it won't be a problem".
Then this, exactly this:
"There is something decidedly crazy in the British system. Here we are nearly two and a half years after a majority of British people voted for Brexit, spurred on by politicians like Dominic Raab, and every day which passes shows that they have not weighed up the consequences or the stakes."
The classic have their cake and eat it, which rarely works when you're negotiating with the other side, which is 10 x the size of you.
Then the bit about the bus, brilliant. Even Farage was against it didn't believe it, yet still peddled it and the gullible bought it, hook line and sinker.
