It is the clearest conflict of interest when agents act for both parties.Make the players pay the agents. The players' agents are representing them not the clubs.

Nobody anywhere is 'worth' that kind of money for doing anything.I don't begrudge him of it, no way. He deserves/ is worth it, he's self-made, and the best at something which the most people try and do (his competition is massive), and when they (his competition) fail they pay to watch him do it.
Factor in half of his wages have probably gone on tax, tax on shirt sales and tax on tickets etc, he's probably helped fund and subsidise more poor people lives than over 99.999999% of people on the planet. If people were not buying tickets, paying for sky TV etc, they wouldn't be paying it as tax to fund the poor. The money could be better distributed between the club though.
I don’t think he means they shouldn’t of signed him, he means his pay packet is too large based on one good season, he should of been on a much smaller basic with a lot of add ons. He hasn’t done a great deal at Barca since he arrived.Frenkie De Jong is a fantastic player. Bizarre to ask what has he done. He shone in Ajax's run to the semis of the CL a couple of seasons ago. He's only 21 too. Not sure what is expected of him!
Countinhos on €20mill euros a season apparentlythis could be a problem:
1. Frenkie de Jong £354,000 a week
2. Antoine Griezmann £345,000 a week
3. Sergio Busquets £258,000 a week
4= Sergio Aguero £230,000 a week
5= Memphis Depay £230,000 a week
6= Gerard Pique £210,000 a week
7= Ousmane Dembélé £210,000 a week
8= Miralem Pjanic £210,000 a week
9. Samuel Umtiti £208,000 a week
10. Sergi Roberto £170,000 a week
They sort of do, as the agent agrees the cut he gets with the player, and they both effectively end up billing the club. So if a club has say a budget of 10m, one player might get 7m in wages and 3m to the agent and another might get 9m and 1m to the agent. If the club only has 8m, then what the player and what the agent get probably come down proportionately, unless the agent has a fixed fee.Make the players pay the agents. The players' agents are representing them not the clubs.
The players don't dictate their "worth", this is dictated by what the public are willing to pay for Sky TV, match tickets etc, you're part of dictating their worth.Nobody anywhere is 'worth' that kind of money for doing anything.
Its basically obscene.
See above. Nobody is worth that kind of money no matter what they do.The players don't dictate their "worth", this is dictated by what the public are willing to pay for Sky TV, match tickets etc, you're part of dictating their worth.
It's also dictated by how much owners are willing to blow their own wealth (or the clubs wealth) on their vanity train set. Whilst those figures are high, the players "worth" will be high, as they are the ultimate asset. There's only one Messi, and a billion people want to be or watch Messi, his wages are peanuts compared to his attraction/ demand.
See the post you quoted, where you didn't counter any of the points.See above. Nobody is worth that kind of money no matter what they do.
What if they are making the club significantly more than their wages?See above. Nobody is worth that kind of money no matter what they do.
I don't care if its the worlds top doctor. Jeff Bezos. Richard Branson. Ronaldo. Whoever and everybody. For the 3rd time. NOBODY IS WORTH THAT KIND OF MONEY.See the post you quoted, where you didn't counter any of the points.
He is worth it, as he gets paid it, and he's the best at a trade that has the most competition of any trade in the world, and probably the best that there has ever been. He won't be worth it in a few years, so he won't get paid it in a few years and his 20-year career will be done.
You might not think he's worth it, which is fine, but you're not paying his wages, his club is, and their fans/ owner pays for that. But you are subsidising it and funding the pyramid which he sits at the top of, by paying for tickets for other clubs and sky etc. It's all linked, where there's massive demand, there's massive wages to reflect it, he's the top of the biggest pyramid. If everyone could do it, the wages would be far lower, supply and demand.
It's like Ronaldo, they've already made the money back for his fee and wages, and we have dictated his price.
If you don't think they're worth it, don't buy tickets and sky tv etc?
They surely are if they bring more in?I don't care if its the worlds top doctor. Jeff Bezos. Richard Branson. Ronaldo. Whoever and everybody. For the 3rd time. NOBODY IS WORTH THAT KIND OF MONEY.
No one needs it, but if they create more than they earn then its viable. Its not really a difficult concept to graspDon't care if he generates 1000 times more income. Why does he need half a billion euros over 4 years? Why does anybody?
If he generates that much money then he's worth it. That's how economics worksDon't care if he generates 1000 times more income. Why does he need half a billion euros over 4 years? Why does anybody?
