we sold our best striker cos pulis didn’t fancy him. The bloke couldn’t spoke talent if it was in his lap

this board in general seems to a have a chip on it shoulder and in typical boro fashion boro fans can’t let it go

we sold him and he’s made a decent career for himself, people need to get over it. Every thread tends to be a bit over the top about him.

All a bit hyperbolic I think. I don’t see too many posts about him and I see no evidence of a collective shoulder chip or that people aren’t over it. An ex player got called up and people are discussing it, that’s all.

Hmm. I think what we need is some concensus on the optimum number of Patrick bamford threads. Somewhere between 4 and 0 a month would be a good starting point. Then we need to factor in whether bamford will continue doing things of note to justify maintaining the number of threads. He's 27 odd now so I would suggest we have another 4 years of peak bamford at three threads a month.

Possible new bamford threads:

Will Bamford ever reach grade 8 in violin?
I got better A-level results than bamford, where's my Harvard scholarship?
Is it acceptable to take your mam with you on the first day of your new job like bamford did?
Do you count General Studies as one of your a-levels like bamford does?
