Remember when you said sacking Wilder last season 'wasn't the answer'?Remember everyone slating him when he was here? Didn't give him a chance?
35mil worth of rubbish..
Shows what some of our fans know.......
Well It wasn't, was it? What's changed? We are still pretty much a mid table champo team?Remember when you said sacking Wilder last season 'wasn't the answer'?
Shows what you know
Under Wilder we very much could have become a League One teamWell It wasn't, was it? What's changed? We are still pretty much a mid table champo team?
I seem to remember everyone questioning why he wasn't getting more game time. Particularly in front of Connolly

Fair point. Many people*‘Everyone’
I think he was maybe a season short in his development - he was very much an individual I thought in his spell with us and still emerging as a team player. The gamble with taking young loan players is where will they be at their development. Like us sending out Josh Coburn last season, we are looking at the development of the player long term, more than how it will benefit Bristol Rovers. Am sure Balogun was a far better player for his spell with Boro and would have been massive had we been able to get him again the season after but he was already earmarked for bigger and better things.Always liked him. Wrongly utilised by Wilder I think. Has done very well since leaving.
Going to a top 3-4 side in one of the worlds top five leagues hardly smells of failure to me.
Yep. He'd only really been tested in u23 prior to joining us I think?I think he was maybe a season short in his development - he was very much an individual I thought in his spell with us and still emerging as a team player.
