I think most of us would rather have had a well thought out strategy for a pandemic response that actually worked, regardless of who that strategy came from. There's also the regional advice that was published in 'areas of concern' without any consultation with local authorities and national representatives despite Mark Harper, the MP who is the chair of the Conservative Covid Recovery Group claiming in February that any variant could not be tackled on a regional basis and the Prime Minister himself saying that the infectiousness of the new variant making regional localised restrictions 'unworkable'.
Like I keep repeating the flaws of this government are based on incompetence and an an inability to have cogency and clarity on much of its Covid policy, my criticism is based on inability not ideology.
I found out the other day we actually do have a well thought out pandemic response. The problem is we don’t use it. Singapore has used it. Singapore has recorded 5 deaths per million people. I wonder if we compare well to thatI think most of us would rather have had a well thought out strategy for a pandemic response that actually worked, regardless of who that strategy came from.
It's much more importat that people don't die than being able to finger point after the fact AM. Of that we should all be in agreement, you would hope.

It's like one of those posts you see on the internetSo Boris Johnson is "sorry" if a minority found what he said about Muslim's offensive and now that that he is PM he would never say what he said then, now.
Oh, that's OK then. Total whitewash that will be out the news as fast as possible.
A bit longer than that - since 2016 actually. The jokes my wife and I had to put up with. Fortunately we got our own back when Trump was elected.Bad year to be English, since the nation became into an international laughing stock.
Interestingly enough, my brother in law was over at the weekend and he thinks the bbc are biased to the left. Whilst he is a bit right of center. he isn't stupid. He even thought Kuensberg was favouring the left.None of sticks......They have the press and media sown up and most of the electorate aren't interested unless it plays to their prejudices.....
