Patrick Bamford explained on a podcast recently that it was simply because there were two Lukes in the Arsenal youth team so Ayling decided to go with Bill and has been called that ever since.

Fairplay... You can't knock a guy for sticking 5k behind the bar.

I have no issues with him watching the dirties. He's a bit of a 'legend' at the club. So clearly very much a Leeds supporter and has mates at the club.

Footballers are often seen as not being connected to fans etc. So this is a terrific gesture.

We'd love it if one of 'our lot' stuck 5k behind the bar at the Pig Iron

Not sure how many still get the chairman’s drink… must be a fair few thousand though. It equates to £100+ of free drinks for me over the course of a season
