Australia free trade deal a failure for UK

Blair did do some good but he really has laid so much of the foundations for the mess we're in as he carried on Thatchers legacy
PFI was poorly executed, but Blair had to do something because our infrastructure had been run into the ground, and after boom and bust the coffers were bare. Blaming Blair for having to raise capital under expensive terms is missing the root cause, over a decade of Tory neglect of our national assets and infrastructure.....history repeats, here we are again.
In terms of Redwurzeld point the problem is no governments in this country ever consider the long term 🤦‍♂️
They want a return on investment prior to the next election cycle, it's a failure of our system of governance. Long term strategy would be better served under a PR system, which promotes less ideological swings, and therefore longer term strategies stay relevent across more election cycles.
