Bangura looks much more comfortable on the ball and going forward than Engel. I think he's the better footballer.

Engel looked much better in the LCB role today with the gane in front of him. His positioning was better. His judgement of the game was better.
Engel's decision making in the attacking third is much better, although Bangura did hit a decent cross over tonight. He's more athletic but he may not get the results we need, he's got to be more decisive once he's in that last 5/10 yards of the byline.

Was very impressed with the pair of them today. Bangura is a very slippery player and a very good athlete, I thought he gave Villa a very good game. Engel is going to be a bit of a cult hero here I think, because he has come on so far since that torrid Sheffield Wednesday performance, he seems determined to succeed here. He gives it his all, he's not as good as George Friend but he has a similar sized heart! I really like the pair of them!

I said in the main match thread that Bangura should have done better in the first half and lo and behold, the next time he got in he set up Josh with a great chance to score. They've both been in and out of the team at times and the old adage that practice makes perfect springs to mind. Experience in this league will bring them both on and it's up to them to seize the tremendous opportunity of playing for such a good manager who'll do his best to develop their talents.

Think wing back is perfect for Bangura in particular - he has genuine pace and I’ve not seen him make any costly defensive errors so far. I think he will be the better signing out of him and Engel, who admittedly has improved greatly but still makes too many errors defensively for my liking
