Are Boro better than Wales?

either a very tight game or we will spank them
How's those splinters?

Personally don't think it'll be close.

If it's a tight game, then that'll be because they're camping on their box.

Our 2nd string team should beat them, comfortably, regardless of if they bring their A game or not.

They're just a seriously terrible terrible team.

Given those games you mentioned as the deciding criteria then if we somehow weren't better than Wales then we A) Sold our actual souls to the devil in exchange for the Iran result and are also B) fu(ked when it comes to having any chance in this world Cup from here on in.

Unless of course you refer to "we" as the Mighty Boro rather than England in which case it's debatable.
yep Boro changed title

I watched some of the second half and Johnson for Wales seemed a poorer player for Wales than when he plays for Forest. I don't know why.

Certainly based on Iran game I would say Wales are bottom half Championship.

I'd personally say the dubious honour of that description goes to Qatar at this tournament. Wales are currently a fairly poor side that whilst not "seriously terrible terrible" have their limitations and are relying on two stars long past their best to drag them up by their bootstraps like they did when they were both at their peak.

Bale has barely played club football for awhile now, at least when he was at Madrid not playing he was training with top players and top coaches. At LAFC it won’t be anywhere near the same standard, the fact he thinks he can just turn it on isn’t going to work.

Ramsey is finished with injuries and barely plays either. Their two supposedly best players just aren’t at a match fitness to really do anything.

Wales are rubbish but their starting 11 are still better than Boro. Most of their 1st team are playing PL football and would improve our team. They don't have any stars any more. Bale has barely played top level competitive football for years yet still capable of moments of quality. Ramsey couldn't get a game for Rangers so he's well past his best. They should probably move on and give someone else a chance.

Outside their first 11 is very weak though.

They were a good side Euro 2018 but they're pretty poor now. Their best players are past it and there's very little quality coming through.

Wilson and Williams get raved about as they came through at Liverpool but both are probably top half championship players.

Stop being a pr*ck, you know exactly what I mean.

On paper, our second string should batter them, but it doesn’t always go that way.

I am sure you have attended a local derby when all the form goes out of the window.

4 yrs is a long time in footballer's years.
6 yrs is even longer, 2 yrs not so much.
So take your pick, I'm not sure which Euros you mean.

Wales v England will be a tough game and let's not make any bones about it. It is the FA Cup final for the Welsh, David verse Goliath and they will be well up for it. Wales won't want to go home early or leave without a win. The winners can return to their clubs with bragging rights.

I hope we give them a football lesson.
I somehow think they’ve had their cup final against the US, where they performed well above their normal standards. Like many have suggested they’re a championship side at best and they’ve done incredibly well to reach the finals.

Apparently form/quality goes out the window when you’re playing absolute trash, because it’s a derby.

What a load of tosh.

Wales are shîte. Simple.

Thir above comment shows me you know very little about football 🤣🤣🤣.

In your world, cup upsets don’t and can’t happen (cancel my Brighton tickets), the bottom of the table can’t beat the top and a lower ranked international teams can’t beat a higher ranked team.

I could give you so many examples to prove you wrong but what is the point, you will only believe what you want.

P.S. Wales were sh1te 😜 and we move into the next round.

You have literally confused yourself.

Where did I say the underdog can't beat the top dog?

Talking rubbish yet again.

I said Wales are trash, and last night proved they were.

Even an idiot could see prior to last night Wales were there for the taking. We are levels above them. Fair play to them in getting to the WC in the first place, but they were without doubt making up the numbers. They aren't very good.

Does that mean they couldn't beat us? Of course not. It's football, sometimes anything can happen. But last night was the perfect example of a rubbish team playing a good team.

You say I know very little about football...and yet you said it'll be tough last night?

I think you need a mirror mate.
