AM for me is their sweet spot in terms of musical style and commerciality. everything since has arguably been a bit more "left of centre" and probably has fewer mainstream admirers?
It says something when a rock band sells out of tea. What a night
The only downside (for about 30 seconds) and this had nothing to do with the band but they ran out of tea, how on earth do you run out of tea.
Awesome evening
Totally agreeimpressive stage presence.
How unrocknroll of themThe only downside (for about 30 seconds) and this had nothing to do with the band but they ran out of tea, how on earth do you run out of tea.
yeah, that BP outro was different gravyWell that was epic..
Bodypaint was just on a different level.
Shout out to the Hives as well. Thought they were fantastic.
They've definitely matured, they can crank out the high octane hits, but they can croon like any of the best.Polished and mature performance and a possible extra 7-9 songs to fill in. A must see now IMO. Alex Turner is a true star frontman now..
I agree, as a venue the riverside is great. Having been to the Etihad and SOL it is much better.I’m not their biggest fan but they were sensational tonight. Absolutely brilliant. The riverside is also such a great venue for a gig like that. The sound quality and organisation was incredible. Boro must have made a fortune from bar sales and it felt like everyone had a fantastic evening judging by the reaction from the crowd.
Well done Boro….really great for the area.
Body Paint was absolutely unreal.Well that was epic..
Bodypaint was just on a different level.
