Not yet, it's normal for them to take up to a few hours given how busy the site will have been though, I did get my PayPal confirmation email so they've taken my moneyAnyone got their email ticket confirmation through? Not received one yet.
No email received yet. Just screenshot of bookingAnyone got their email ticket confirmation through? Not received one yet.
i didn’t even preorder the album. I went to last week but it wasn’t available yet. I put in my email to remind me when it’s available to preorder but didn’t bother in the end. Anyway last night I still received the code for presale tickets via email.Yeah 2 tickets with the presale for buying a £9 casette off their album yesterday 1 minute before the deadline!
I logged on this morning at 0835 and after refreshing like a maniac, i went for a pi$$ came back and the ticket screen was sat waiting for me! I got tickets at 0915; £162 for seats right near where Maddo sits for commentary. Money straight out the bank and confirmation email came at 11:30. The tickets aren't on the app yet like.
Were the £53 seated ticket advertised as “may have limited view”? That’s the reason I ended up paying £80 a ticket for seats ( no standing avail by the time I got to order my tickets)Yeah I managed to 4 seated tickets, just short of £53 each. Confirmation took a while to come through but eventually did.
You do know that you don't have to actually buy anything for pre-sale? You juat sign up and get the link too.Yeah 2 tickets with the presale for buying a £9 casette off their album yesterday 1 minute before the deadline!

Surprisingly enough, I reckon there's a good chance they'll sing more than just 1 song.Just heard the new Artic Monkeys song. I now won't be trying to get tickets. Utterly dire.

There is something in this though, quite a lot of their earlier fans have been put off (in some cases, to put it mildly) by the newer material. Fair to say TBHAC left a decent chunk of their audience behind.Surprisingly enough, I reckon there's a good chance they'll sing more than just 1 song.

Obviously the set will span all eras/albums (as recent setlists confirm) but I do think there would be something in them touring the newer material in smaller, more appropriate venues (whilst making clear only these albums will be played). It's quite intricate in places and I'm not sure it will translate to stadia/outdoor gigs.
Just my preference of course, I absolutely loved their first album at the time (when I was much younger - ha!) but would rarely listen to it these days, preferring their newer vibe.
Right, pass me Histoire de Melody Nelson
I saw them during the TBHAC tour and I thought the set, apart from when they played the new songs obviously, was very much the same as when I saw them touring for AM and Leeds Festival 2014.There is something in this though, quite a lot of their earlier fans have been put off (in some cases, to put it mildly) by the newer material. Yeah I think Alex Turner even made that point recently, "more guitars" or something? All joking aside I didn't really get on with the more recent stuff but loved the first few albums. I was hoping the new stuff might be a bit more like the older stuff but it sounds like it isn't. Fair play to them - bands evolve. Sadly my music taste hasn't and I'm firmly stuck in the 90's!!
I'm sure it will be a fantastic gig but I'll wait until Shedcember until my next outing.
