Anyone into shoegazing tunes?

I went to see them in Camden when they first signed with Creation. They had a young male singer with a bowl cut. They were incredible... and much more exciting than what they became later when he left and they went truly shoegaze. I did meet them later and we talked about making a music video together but the stars never did align on that one. Kevin really did look at hid flippin shoes for most of the time we were in the pub. Although the later shoegaze stuff was less exciting than their "Monkees on speed" iteration, i will always love Kevin for his work on the "Lost in Translation" sountrack.
That's great 🙂

One of my favourite soundtracks and a great film thanks

I'd agree re the other 2 but Ride?
Ride were never on Sarah records. They were on Creation. Cocteau Twins were on 4AD. Not sure about Primal Scream

I probably worded my last post pretty badly. What I was was trying to say was that Sarah records bands were more jangly/C86 than 'shoegaze'.

I didn't mean they were on Sarah Records,
I just remember they attracted the shoegaze crowd when dancing at Indie nights in the Boro e.g. Miffies Club.
I agree about the C86 stuff, I think the 'anorak' wearers were all in the same musical boat.
