Anyonce else can't bring themselves to watch the WC?

I can understand that some would choose or refuse to watch the world cup due to it being held in Qatar, but, a football fan
not wanting to watch or having no interest in seeing the best football players in the world perform at the highest level against
one another, is bizarre in my book.
 
I watched the England games. I haven’t bothered with the rest.

Stayed out for the game on Saturday after the Boro game. As expected, pretty disappointing but I didn’t lose any sleep over it.

Boro got the 3 points which was all that mattered.

I’ve not been invested in this WC at all. Won’t bother with the other Semi or Final either.
 
I watched the semi final tonight in a pub in Vienna. Not many Croatia fans in but spotted a few walking around other parts of the area, plenty cheering for Argentina or should I say Messi who they only seemed bothered about.

Couldn’t imagine being that excited, to the point of shouting and cheering, about a player who doesn’t play for your club or country but each to their own
 
same here.... Watched all England and Wales.... now uninterested so guess that makes me not a real footie fan. Only Boro for me ....
 
Have watched all the games apart from a couple of quarter finals due to xmas parties

Tournament seems to have flown by

Cheering on Morocco now, just want someone different to win it.
 
I watch Boro games but not others. I watch England games but not others. I pretty much switched off as soon as that ball flew into the stands.
 
I've been at sea for 6 weeks and can tell you the World Cup was a great source of getting people together. There was quite a few nationalities so good to have a bit of a laugh and joke about each other's chances. None of cared about politics, corruption, or shocking conditions. It was good to eat some ***** and watch a game after shift.

that's like eating pot noodles and declining a restaurant invitation.
Or going to Skegness rather than French riviera for your hols.

I am a midle aged life long football fan and football coach who earns modest sums from schools coaching. I love football and I am not watching the World cup. I would not go to a party ran by child abusers etc, and here I will not watch a tournament hosted by sick serial human rights abusers.
