Anybody else not feeling the latest series of Peaky Blinders?

As someone who hadn't enjoyed Peakys as much. I have to say the last episode was superb.
Just needed Arthur to say "don't f#@k with the peaky blinders" to the ira woman (but he didn't). Would have made it for me.

Tbh when everyone was raving about it, Mrs V and I tried to watch the very first episode and were bored rigid, so we have never watched any more.

Give it another try mate, I didn’t buy into all the hype at first even and only binge watched it during lockdown but it’s epic.

I couldn’t get into Breaking Bad though no matter how hard I tried though so horses for courses.

The finale did pull it back a bit for me but I think it’s run it’s course now and a film would be gratuitous.

Similar to others, wasn't a huge fan of the first 5 episodes, but loved that ending. Loved that Johnny Dogs made an appearance too.

Few things you'd like to know, such as how they knew Billy was working with Jack Nelson (unless I completely missed if that was shown?!), but on the whole, it was great. Poignant for Tommy to end it on a white horse too, and that cover of All The Tired Horses was excellent. One thing Peaky has done consistently for me is pick the exact songs for the right moments.

Interesting that last part where it went from securing the future, by offloading elements in the family business, into that touch ‘magical realism’ with his lost daughter, where he realised the con that had been perpetrated and he wasn’t dying. Like a reconfirming of his beliefs in an older religion.
Anyway certainly went out with lots of bangs and mayhem.

Brilliant finale, so many great lines but Johnny Dogs ‘I’m just going to look at the fog’ was brilliant.

There were a few unanswered questions though, such as how did they know Billy was a snitch, how did they know they needed to switch the cars? Unless I missed these as there was so much going on!

The kids Johnny Dogs tells to go away were his kids. They’d spotted it and told Johnny who drew a noose on Tommys car to tel him it’s sorted.

Nice one humpty! They did a close up of the car door when Tommy was getting in but never noticed the noose!

One thing I couldn't make my mind up about, was Finn a traitor too?

Great spot that Humpty! I never noticed the noose first time around, just rewatched that part and it's clear as day once you know it's there!

The kids that are sat on the edge when Michael is putting the bag in the boot too, and the fella tells them about 'grande fish', didn't even give that scene a second thought!

Finn wasn't a traitor but had gone of the rails a bit. He then chose Billy over the family.
I thought his banishment was a bit harsh because he didn't know what Billy was up to and had no reason to think that Duke was suddenly in charge I don't think.
I reckon that story will develop in the movie.
