Any Silver Linings on not getting Promotion?

Easier to get served in the navi and in the ground. Easier to get parked. Fans there to see the boro, not plastic fans who only go to really watch the established Premier league teams.

Good point. Away matches don't sell out so I get to see my team play.

Really the ideal situation for me next year would be to win the league then turn down promotion.

I'm not sure that many if any actually go to see the other team, I think it's more that they are more motivated to go when Boro are playing top level rather than against Bristol City for example.

Less police so easier for you to park up and have a couple in the Navi… but more difficult to find the car after a couple in the Navi :D

Another season for Carrick and the team to really cement their way of winning games. That will also possibly mean that we'll, fingers crossed, be heading into the PL needing only a few additions to the squad and not a massive influx. As I said on another thread, there seems to be an "unfinished business" air about the place which will hopefully mean the likes of Giles, Archer, Ramsey and Steffen are itching to come back.

I can avoid listening to the inane ramblings of the three stooges lineker wiright and that plank shearer
