The year Burnley went up as champions, he was amazing for them.

I remember at the back end of that season when it was us Burnley & Brighton fighting for the top 2 spots, it felt like he was scoring every single week.

Not sure what's happened at Watford, but at Brentford & Burnley he was a very good player.

Maybe the step up to the PL isn't for him?

If he can get to anywhere near his best for the Championship, then I'd be happy with him leading our line.
 
He's better than what we have, so it's a yes from me..... on £20k a week max. There is NO WAY he is worth any more than that, surely?
 
Would need a huge pay cut to become true, plus he is 30 so will be starting to lose his pace soon. Has a gear left on his contract so if that’s true Watford are gonna have to pay him off which would be 3.6m as he will jot get anything near that with his current scoring record
 
Thought he was great when he first burst on the scene, definitely worth a go if he's up for the challenge, sure he would thrive if he was the main striker in a Warnock set up.
 
Think he’s one of those players that are excellent championship players, but not able to make the step up to the premier league.
If the moneys right think he’d be a good signing.
