Andre Gray

The most incredible part of this is that he's on 70k a week. Jesus christ😂

I would describe him as an 'alright' footballer. It just shows how one prem contact effectively sorts you out for life. It just shows why players are happy not to play. Absolutely no motivation to move.

I have no doubt they want shot with a year left.

Never thought he looked that good when he made his name at Brentford.
Watford fans see his transfer as a bad mistake.

Mind you, weirdly, I remember him being linked with Bristol City.
One of the few times they have ever looked to put their hand in their pocket big style
Nine million for Brizzle

Hit his peak in the 15/16 season in the Championship, and then has gradually done less and less in the Prem and then last year couldn't get much of a start for a team in the Champo, albeit they did come second.

He's seemingly on his downward spiral, but we could do a lot worse.

Would prefer if we could get someone on the way up, but the risk v cost v return on that would probably not be as good.

A season long loan would be the sensible option and he gives us something upfront that we don't currently have, movement and the ability to run the channels, he only started 16 league games last season and only played 90 minutes twice, perhaps a solid run in the team and more minutes on the pitch will help him rediscover the scoring form that he had at Burnley, Brentford and Luton.

Very little downside to the transfer and certainly an upgrade on the strikers we have had over the last few seasons.

He lives in Surrey with his pop star wife. Come December up in Boro on his tod, how much is he gonna really want it? Steer clear.
