Nothing against the Army (I’ve spent many a session in their midst out in Australia) but I’m kind of conflicted about selling blocks of tickets at Lord’s to the BA. I quite like the tradition of lords where you can take your own booze in, there is no bugle blaring away and no music on the PA system after every wicket or boundary It’s the only ground you get that. The atmosphere yesterday was great without it.

What a difference 24 hours makes. Eng at 60 odd for 1 and cruising towards NZ first innings total and the following day NZ are 210 ahead with 6 wickets left. Unreal turnaround.

Possibly but ask a player where his favourite ground is and most of them will say Lord’s, England or overseas players.
