All Wilders January Signings have proven to be rubbish

I said it was a mistake to sign Connolly and Balogun at the time. We needed a proven goalscorer at this level. May as well have just stuck with Coburn if not. Too many had their head stuck up Wilders arśe at the time.

Two things suggest they were his signings. Firstly it's well known he wanted balogun at sheff utd. Secondly he played them from the off when particularly Connolly wasn't match fit and persisted playing them both despite their terrible form.

I would also add I remember him making some snidy comments after he was asked about sporar playing well. All in all he's had a nightmare with the forwards and must take some of the blame.

You are absolutely loving this, aren’t you?
I certainly am...!!!!
Warnock signed Crooks and brought Jones through and where would we have been without Bamba as back up. Uche should never have been allowed to leave and I agree Hernandez was direct and made things happen...

I imagine Neil Warnock can't stop laughing.....

You must've enjoyed the last two home games, it was just like when Warnock was there

People were loving McGree this time last week. Taylor has done a good job since he arrived and people were loving that, too, and wanted him to sign on until the end of the season. The two strikers have underwhelmed but lets not pretend there wasn't excitement about them when they joined. More so for Balogun but the strikers needed to be changed when he came in. It hasn't worked and we try again in the summer.

People mentioning Warnock - give Wilder the same amount of time. In terms of signings, let him sign 24 players in a year perhaps.

I disagree completely. McGree is a very, very good signing and will be vital next season. I can see why Connolly and Balogun were signed as they fit the way we play. Both are good at the pressing game and positioning wise are really good.

The problem is that they continued to play despite poor performances and failing to score goals. But then again, neither of the other strikers have been prolific either. I'd have preferred Uche to stay though, he at least offered a different, more physical option that we were calling out for in some of our recent games.

Wilder not putting the Burnley rumours to bed doesn’t have anything to do with signings. We’ve only really fallen off these past few weeks.

McGree was very promising, he’s had a few injuries. Taylor has been class, Balogun & Connolly we’re very much sought after and are both very capable forwards!

The playoffs we’re the aim for this season and all this talk of Wilder overachieving is absolute nonsense!
