All this let's replace Michael Carrick talk

Is there really that much ‘talk’ of it to warrant a thread to claim its nonsense?

I’ve only seen a couple mentions of it and they look like WUMs rather than genuine fans to me.

I’m think Carrick needs the experienced coach who was supposed to come in with him.

Woodgate is certainly not the answer and I really do think Carrick needs some help.
Jesus... let's get venebles in. He chose the staff. Either hes up to it or he isn't.

So far today I've seen Gibson, woodgate, players, Scott all slated. Hes an intelligent bloke if woodgate wasn't upto it he wouldn't be here. How do you know woodgate isn't the answer and what he does.

To be fair, at least on here, it's only one daft poster that I've seen calling for it.

Improvements are definitely needed, but I'm nowhere near wanting a change of management.
I'm sick of the constant change.

Can we for once not be desperate to sack a manager after a bad start 😂?
All summer we praise the new recruitment model, moving away from loans and trying to unearth gem, only for chatter to start the manager who's in the dug out should be under more scrutiny in the long term project

Carrick has a wealth of experience in the game. He has played (and coached) at one of the world's biggest clubs and played under one of the world's best ever managers for a lot of years. We're in safe hands with Carrick and no one is calling for his head.

The only positive I can take from our poor start is that it's highlighted the fact that we are still a long way off being a side that can challenge for promotion and more quality players are needed before the window closes. I would rather a poor run of form happened now at a time when the window is still open so it can be addressed.

Over to you Steve, Neil and Kieran. The clock is ticking...

Or maybe his results and performance last season have earned him time and trust?
We’ve won 3 of our last 15 Championship games, we’ve kept one clean sheet in that time.

What I’m seeing is a manager out of ideas, who’s sending his team to play exactly the same way week after week and it isn’t working. He’s too tactically inflexible.

We’re unorganised, terrible at defending, not very good going forward and terrible at attacking or defending set pieces.

What exactly is he doing on the training ground?

Definitely want him to stay, but we are struggling and so he needs to put out his strongest team.out in their preferred positions rather than bring players out and put them in a non preferred/weaker position because he hopes they might bring something else to the team. Let's get through this bad patch, get on a winning run then he can tinker.

There was always supposed to be an experienced coach coming in to work with Carrick.

It hasn’t happened and since we fell of a cliff towards the end of last season he has looked a bit lost.

He needs and deserves a good more deal than Woodgate.
