Be careful what you wish for...

Last season we clearly over-achieved when he came in, we had all the luck in the world with Chuba and the loans and as a result some of our fans are now kicking off with their sense of promotion / play off entitlement.

We're victims of our own success last season and so to a point I get the frustration. But this is a medium term project and I've no doubt the plan is promotion in 2 to 3 years built on a Brighton / Brentford foundation.

We're investing in young gems and some will come good and make us good money, some won't. But for the first time in forever we have a plan built on sustainability, small steps forward and long term security. We'll hit potholes along the way, let's stop getting our knickers in a twist especially considering some of the rubbish and lack of gameplan we've had to endure in the last 12 or 13 years, AK years excepted.

Let's go to Bolton with a strong squad, smash them then do the same to QPR next week.

We on year three of this cycle though start season badly sack manager improve chase playoffs. I'm thinking if we sack manager earlier form can improve earlier

Warnock went November
Wilder went October
It’s September soon……

I‘m more concerned with this pattern of poor starts to a season - regardless of who is in charge.

I don't think people are seriously suggesting to replace Carrick. It would be ridiculous.

He had us playing the best stuff I have ever seen last season and he will do again.

People are just frustrated. Everyone just needs to chill out and regroup. It's 4 games, by the way we have carried no luck whatsoever.

Wierdly as last season I was thinking we don’t have the players to play 3-5-2, this season am thinking it’s the way to go! Good job us fans don’t pick the team. We’ll be reet…..Michael Carrick is Super and knows exactly what we need😉

Spot on Wee Man.
Carrick identified the plan over the last few weeks, even into next season.
A tough start, but you dont win battles by deserting your post.
The team and the staff need our support. (y)

I’m think Carrick needs the experienced coach who was supposed to come in with him.

Woodgate is certainly not the answer and I really do think Carrick needs some help.
Woodgate was getting plaudits last season, seems a bit harsh to put it on him. What about Leadbitter? He’s in the same role as Woodgate and has less experience than Woodgate.

The issue is that we have replaced quality players with inferior players, and have much less quality and creativity.
