Never heard so many pundits criticise a player as much as they have with him the last 2 games.
Southgate needs to have a reality check. Playing people out of position simply doesn’t work at any level. Not sure Gallagher is the answer through.

Roy Keane called it as a big problem before the first game, and just said rice is having to babysit trent after that. Its an unbelievablely stupid selection from southgate

It`s crazy.

Admitting to playing TAA as an experiment in a major tournament is suicidal.
We don`t look good and I had us down for winning the competition, which of course we could still do, but thankfully we have 4 points, or we`d be in big trouble.

Next game I think he`ll drop Bellingham deeper (in place of TAA) alongside Rice, move Foden in to the 10 and put Gordon or Palmer on the left.

We should only really see TAA back in the team when we are cruising and he comes on as a sub

The problem is...Southgate put TÀA in the team for his passing abilities..he can unlock a defense with a bit if magic...now the problem is, we didn't have any forwards running in behind to hit!!! (Watkins did when he came on but TAA had been subbed by) Foden comes towards the ball, Kane comes towards the ball and is way too deep he is practically on top of the midfield, Saka does make runs in behind but he is now getting marked by 2 defenders doubling up on him because he is the most dangerous at getting in behind...that's why most of us are left scratching our heads on what exactly is Southgate trying to achieve?.
