Alex Pritchard refusing to play for Sunderland again

Sunderland owner showing his true colours.
Was a bit weird in summer - think Pritchard nearly went?
They have one of the 3 lowest salary bills in the Champo.
They cleared out Baath, Gooch and Stewart in the summer to trim their nearly non-existent wage bill

Surprised Club made a public statement 1hr before KO?
Usually he would have been 'injurred'
Maybe leaks

He's pulled snidey **** before hasn't he. Like when he'd agreed to sign for Brighton and I think was on his way there for his medical and someone from Norwich called him and he signed for them instead.

Had a look at that thread on their board and surprised how many of them are defending Pritchard, although it's probably more that they're using it as a stick to beat Beale with.

Yakubu and Ramirez both effectively refused to play. They turned up and put on the shirt on but they didn't play
Ayala was also banned from the training ground, after refusing to play for the club during his contact standoff..

I don’t know how I feel about this. My first reaction is think he’s unprofessional. However, after KLD selling his backside to the mags and the Saudis, and his refusal to buy a striker. It makes me wonder if he has had a promise not fulfilled. It seems extreme from him but I smell more Sunlun shenanigans.

It's funny because it's the Mackems but it's a disgrace what he's done. He's obviously wanted by the club as he was offered a new contract last week.
A contracted player should never say he's not playing again. What a wan#@r
Prospective buyers surely are put off by this character trait?
