Sunderland are gargantuan compared to stoke.
Most of them were before planes were invented. Saying that in Pennywell they probably still point at planes out of surpriseWhy would Alex Neil care about how many trophies Sunderland won before the TV was invented?
Fair enough if that is your only measure.Based on my lifetime, yes.
looks like bad news for our friends up the A19.
I was being a bit sarcastic mainly to have a go at Newcastle. To give you a hint of how old I am Foggon scored for Newcastle in their trade cup win the year before I was bornFair enough if that is your only measure.
I don't know how old you are but for a lot of posters that will mean ourselves (and Wigan) are bigger clubs than Everton and Villa.
To younger fans Wigan would be bigger than Spurs.
Which to me is nonsense.
It depends on what you define as a "big club" and how operative those criteria are when it comes to what a potential new manager looks for from a club in order to succeed.Ridiculous to say Sunderland aren’t a bigger club than Stoke.
I reckon he’ll stay, and that this could be a way for him to get a bigger and better contract with the mackems.
Same was true of Forest last season. They changed their manager shortly after we played them and got promoted. From what we saw on the pitch last week, stoke are/ will be, in a relegation battle
Ad move for all concerned imoSunderland have just confirmed they have allowed him (contractually) to speak to Stoke, you'd think there's no coming back from that then wouldn't you? Their fans, rightfully, wouldn't want him back.
