Aidan Morris....

Robbie Mustoe clone.....all the right things....all the right places....quietly....brilliantly.....I like him lots 😍😍
He just compliments Hackney so well, he covers every blade of grass, Morris does the $hitty work, the hard yards, and he can pick a pass through the midfield, what a great bit of business by the club getting this young lad.
A great player, a fans favorite.

Excellent player who goes about his business quietly and under the radar.

Love watching him in interviews and in the odd video we get on the Boro YouTube channel, the one with the FIFA card was class like how did he know that card was his immediately.

unbelievable signing who does all the necessary scrappy work.... also got a lot of passion, was good to see him trying to get the crowd worked up yesterday. just hope we can match his passion and ambition throughout the season.

The best thing about Morris is he makes a crucial interception/block/tackle and when the cameras pan in on him... He absolutely loves it.

No interest in scoring or joining the attack - he knows his job and does is very well. Reminds me of a prime-Clayton.

Prime Clayton never had the speed, passing range or drive that morris seems to have demonstrated so far. He was however much tougher in the tackle.

With the greatest of respect to Robbie Mustoe, I think Morris looks a far better player. His calmness in possession and ability to always play forwards in superb. A proper, proper superb piece of business that the club should rightly be very proud of.

If I was to compare him to a Boro player of years gone by, I'd say he's more like George Boateng.

We've been crying out for someone like him for years. Not only does he do his job very well, but he allows Hackney to get forward.

Excellent signing, and he seems to love it here as well.

Someone on the match thread last night called him 'the fat, lazy American with a bad attitude'.

I'm hoping it was satire because he's been absolutely tremendous.

With the greatest respect, Morris has played less than 10 games. Mustoe was pretty consistent for 365 games. Think he has a long way to go yet. That's not to say I don't think he has the potential to be a great player for us.

I love the way he goes about his disruption tactics, winning the ball back and doing the simple passes to feed the more forward thinking players. He supports attack in possession and defence out of possession equally well. The nickname ‘the wave breaker’ is far more suited to Morris than it ever was to De Roon (so far). I think he has proved an absolute bargain of a signing.
