He just compliments Hackney so well, he covers every blade of grass, Morris does the $hitty work, the hard yards, and he can pick a pass through the midfield, what a great bit of business by the club getting this young lad.Robbie Mustoe clone.....all the right things....all the right places....quietly....brilliantly.....I like him lots![]()
I'd say that partnership is consistently the strongest part of our team.Yep, the best compliment that I can give him is that we aren’t missing Howson, who is now very much the back up option.
Morris and Hackney have very quickly formed a fantastic partnership that makes them first names on the team sheet for me.
Prime Clayton never had the speed, passing range or drive that morris seems to have demonstrated so far. He was however much tougher in the tackle. The best thing about Morris is he makes a crucial interception/block/tackle and when the cameras pan in on him... He absolutely loves it.
No interest in scoring or joining the attack - he knows his job and does is very well. Reminds me of a prime-Clayton.
With the greatest respect, Morris has played less than 10 games. Mustoe was pretty consistent for 365 games. Think he has a long way to go yet. That's not to say I don't think he has the potential to be a great player for us.With the greatest of respect to Robbie Mustoe, I think Morris looks a far better player. His calmness in possession and ability to always play forwards in superb. A proper, proper superb piece of business that the club should rightly be very proud of.
Yeah the same bloke said burgzorg is better than latte lath. I wouldn't pay him a seconds noticeSomeone on the match thread last night called him 'the fat, lazy American with a bad attitude'.
I'm hoping it was satire because he's been absolutely tremendous.
