They are the ones with most goals, most shots, highest shot conversion and shot accuracy.

But we still wouldn't have the third best strikers.
Even if we got promoted, we'd still have had one of the worst keepers in the division and one of the least prolific strike forces.

Daniels is doing alright in fairness, but the strikeforce would still be poor, that much is indisputable...unless you are newy it would seem

Does it matter? It's a team game. How many times have we seen amongst the leagues top scorers, teams that fail to put points on the table.
'Even if we get promoted' even if we get promoted! anything after that sounds silly. even if we get promoted you still want to complain about Joe Lumley and all of our strikers.
One of the worst goalkeepers in the division? When was he the worst? All season? He made a few mistakes and he lost his place in the team as a result. ONE OF the least prolific strike forces. I think you're making it out to be a lot worse than it is.
We had the same last season, a mid table finish was the aim, stability and anything other than that would have been welcome. Warnock had us looking at the top six before long and with a few strikers we may well have see that happen. 10th was a good solid finish.
This season, top six was whispered, 6th place would have been ideal.. and improvement on 10th place was the aim. We've had a good run in the cup a few good matches we are near enough where we expected to be, where we've planned to be and realistically where we can expect to be. Average 1.5ppg finishing 6th or 7th a few top strikers in the team and we would have possibly seen that change. Automatic promotion is a MAMMOTH TASK you're pretty much building a premier league squad. Top six although not impossible also requires consistency, the league is ridiculously tight.. the difference in quality between teams is negligible. In order to stand out you need to have a BIG BIG difference from the rest.
We are in the mix and there's every possibility that we can infact finish 6th.. put it us vs Sheffield United and if the Brammal Lane performance is anything to go by.. they should have it hands down. That's not how it works. Nottingham Forrest are flying right not they fully deserve to go up. That's not how it works either! Consistency and at the right time. We need to start peaking over the next six games and go on a nice little run. In no way shape or form is that impossible.

not many are good enough for the premier league.. including many that are in the premier league!
We'd need big changes to compete in the Premier League next season.. just as we would need big changes to go for automatic promotion in the championship.
