A Few Words For Neil Warnock

It would be nice ( naturally if he wished ) to have him at the Riverside sometime and give him a VIP day with an applause pre KO . It would also be nice for him to have his missus with him as she surrendered him to us when we needed him .

Why on earth would he deserve something like that and why on earth would we want it to happen?

I said who knows.... it might have affected NW performance in motivating the team ... a unhappy boss, under performing is a recipe for poor performances
It didn’t stop him motivating the team for the 3 victories on the spin or the win at Forest and home to Sheff Utd. It’s a convenient excuse for the poor defeats I don’t buy.

Just thought....guessing warnocks meeting with tbe fans at the riverside night is cancelled. My dad will ne disappointed. He was going.

Have to admit I don't really get the cult of Warnock.

He's come in, done a very good job in keeping us up (not a miracle though as some seem to be claiming, it was a side that was massively under performing and was outside the bottom 3) and then been distinctly underwhelming in terms of results in the season and a half since.

I get that his patter is appealing to some, I enjoyed it at first, but was definitely wearing thin.

I don't really see what justifies the hero worship from some? We've had worse managers but we've had far far better ones and most have conducted themselves with more dignity.

Couldn't agree more. He will barely register in terms of my Boro memories in a few years time.

I agree. Been shocked at the fan fare.

They even went public as warnocks rejects such was the contempt they felt.
Are you really so naive that you believe that 18 and 19 year old kids would name their team out of contempt for their manager and get away with it.
Name any organisation that would allow apprentices and junior members of staff to supposedly publicly be contemptuous of any higher member of staff and let them off scot free.

I am afraid your dislike of Warnock is having an effect on your mind. I remember when you were quite an interesting poster but recently you have just lost it.

NW left when he left. The internet complaints prior to this probably cost us some points by creating uncertainty. I’m glad the Warnock out brigade haven’t been crowing about it on here. The fans in the ground didn’t really turn on him, some on the internet did. I hope we can be patient with Chris Wilder and have some stability.

You think people online got Warnock sacked? Look at our second half record. Did the players only read the internet at half time?

would even argue it was Warnock's comments on Sat night that brought forward all the announcements and interviews with Chris Wilder and Kieran Scott to Sunday.
I think is 100% as you say the club had to counter what Warnock said and so there’s no doubt this moved things up a notch

My big football issue with Warnock and like to see his supporters on here answer this, was his use or non use of subs.

I was amazed at times that he would not roll the dice and make a sub esp as you are allowed 5 of them.

staggering

Have you not heard them booed off after any of the woeful home defeats this season? Or the chants of 'sacked in the morning' away at Hull?

Because I have!
