9am Kit Release!!

Basically the white band has been used as an advertising billboard. It's as if someone thought the space needed filling so we now have three rows of ***** in there. It looks bloody awful.

The "warning" looks like it shouldn't even be there, as if someone stuck it on as an afterthought.

A sponsor doesn't have to ruin a shirt (although arguably any betting company, however well done does exactly that) but plenty of ours in recent seasons have been.

Do the shirt manufacturers take into account what the shirt looks like with the sponsor when they're designing them? Because ours frequently look like they're pretty much just stuck on as an afterthought regardless of how it looks.
 
I like it - sponsor isn’t great but I like the top. 👍

(But it seems I have no sense of style or taste judging by most opinions expressed above)

I'm the same (though I hate the sponsor).

I'm encouraged by the fact Viv's nana likes it (sponsor aside) I think he works or used to work in fashion (could be wrong)?

So I'm choosing to interpret that as the rest of these fuddy duddies being out of touch.
 
Its a football shirt. It is red and white, it has the white chest band, so it's a big tick. Not really sure what else you could do with it. The collar is fine. If you're wearing it as a fashion item outside of match day or playing 5-a-side, you're a doyle anyway. (Or a kid, which is fine)

OK, it could be a better sponsor, but that has nothing to do with the design of the shirt.

In 5-10 years, maybe less, gambling ads will be banned from shirts, same as fast food and booze and anything of a similar ilk and future generations will look back on the "betting" shirts and wonder how they got away with it

It is absolutely rotten and the sponsor is a big no no. Going to boycott any kit with a betting company logo.
