Really harsh on Marvin Johnson imo. In recent memory Fabio and Husband both worse during their time with us. Fabio couldn't even kick a ball with his left foot.
 
Lee Miller one mention so far? too far back to count? Did he win a header. Pub player and a gift fee from Strachan to Aberdeen.

We at least sort of clicked within a few weeks that Lee Miller was gash and turfed him out to Carlisle. More than can be said for Boyd, for instance.

Hands down Gestede for me....

The best part of 10mil+ (with wages). Then fecked off for nothing. We couldn't even loan him out due to ridiculous salary.

I think he scored 7 league goals in 4 years as a CF?

That said the worst footballer I've ever seen in a Boro shirt was Kike Sola. Genuinely looked like he'd won a raffle to get a kick around. 45mins was enough to suggest he wasn't even a footballer. A truly strange signing. How/why did Karanka recommend him? Something well dodgy going on 😂
 
Not sure why Dong Gook Lee is on there. Yes he struggled to adapt but he arrived on a free. We have wasted big money on plenty of players who should be above him (Mido, Gestede and Fletcher to name a few). I stopped paying attention when Gestede was so low on the list.

Kevin Thompson was the worst I’ve seen. Couldn’t run, couldn’t pass, couldn’t tackle. Absolute dross.

Gestede was probably overall a better player than Fletcher, at least he was for Blackburn anyway. We got a bit more out of Fletcher though for me and we at least got one decent run of form from him in late 2019. Gestede did nothing throughout his entire time for us.
 
I think people need to differentiate between not very good and couldn’t be arsed,as on his day Mido was world class look at his clubs but he genuinely didn’t care when he came here and it showed.

Apparently he refused to travel on the team coach and went by private limo to the game so can’t see that doing much to team morale and I don’t think he wore our training gear either.

Whereas gestede was just pony.
